When creating a Campaign, it is mandatory to define a budget. This article will guide you
through everything you need to know about the available budget types, helping you choose the
best method for your objective.
The budget can be configured in two ways:
Daily Limit
The Daily Limit (Daily Budget) establishes the maximum investment cap for each 24-hour cycle.
This is the ideal method for those looking to maintain a constant and controlled presence over
the day avoiding unexpected spending peaks.
⚠️ New accounts have a default spending limit of $30 per day per Campaign. If your strategy
requires a higher investment, you can submit a Quota Increase Request. After a brief technical
review by our team, this cap can be readjusted. To better understand how these safety thresholds
work, please refer to our full article on Accounts.
Lifetime Limit
Also known as a Lifetime Budget, this option defines the maximum amount that will be invested throughout the entire duration of the Campaign. The system calculates this limit by multiplying
the account's daily quota by the number of scheduled days. For example: if you have a daily
quota of $50 and the Campaign is scheduled to run for 5 days, your lifetime limit can be set at
up to $250.
Note: You have the flexibility to configure both daily and lifetime limits simultaneously. In this scenario, the system prioritizes whichever value is reached first; the Campaign will automatically pause upon hitting the most restrictive limit (the lower one), ensuring you never exceed your
intended planning.
📍 Your budget can be modified at any time. Simply select the desired Campaign and click
the Edit
icon.
Setting a Budget
Currently, the BMS Platform offers two ways to create a Campaign: via Quickstart and Advanced
Mode. Regardless of the method chosen, the budget screen is virtually the same, with only the
navigation flow being different.
If you are using Quickstart, after configuring your Ads, press the
button to be directed to the budget screen.
On the budget screen, you can adjust the time zone for Campaign scheduling, set the
budget, stipulate the Average CPM, and determine the start and end dates for your delivery.
To establish your Campaign investment, manually enter the desired amount by selecting a Daily
Limit, a Lifetime Limit (or both). Then, press the
button.
As previously mentioned, there is the option to create a Campaign using Advanced Mode. If this
is your case, the interface may look slightly different, but you will notice that the principles remain
the same.
In this mode, in addition to adjusting the time zone, setting the budget, and determining the
start and end dates for your delivery, you can also change the Campaign name, Domain,
Tags, and Bid Price.
Once you have finished the configuration, click the
button to confirm your changes.

Additional Information
It is important to note that the budget defined here is exclusive to the ad delivery costs of this specific Campaign. For payment purposes, this amount does not represent the total cost of your account, but rather a portion that will be added to your consolidated billing.
This means that, at the end of the cycle, your total invoice will include the amount spent on this Campaign along with the costs of any other products or services you use on the platform.
